The site runs on a simple, custom-built weblog application written using the Python-based Django web framework. It is hosted at TextDrive on a FreeBSD machine running lighttp with FastCGI. It uses MySQL 4 as the database and Subversion for source control. Development is done with GNU Emacs on an Apple MacBook.
